About Me

Mary Craver, MS, OTR/L
Occupational Therapist, Pediatric Specialty
I am so happy you are here! I have invested the past 39 years of my life as a pediatric occupational therapist working with children of all ages and stages. I have great passion for what I do and it gives me even more joy to see every child reach their goals!
Over the years, I have helped children with social skills, self-
regulation of emotions, attention and activity levels, sensory processing, executive functioning, handwriting, keyboarding, fine and gross motor coordination, and activities of daily living. In addition to individual assessment and treatment, I love to integrate methods into a variety of settings and train those involved in the care and instruction of each child.
I graduated from Towson University in 1985 with a B.S. in occupational therapy and received a M.S. in occupational therapy in 1991 with a pediatric specialty. Affiliates have included John’s Hopkins, Kennedy Krieger, Children’s Hospital National Medical Center, The Reginald S. Lorie Center, and Weinfeld Education Group. I became certified in Sensory Integration and Praxis Testing in 1989 and Pediatric Neurodevelopmental Treatment in 1994, which have enabled me to detect and treat specialized sensorimotor and neurological difficulties. I take pride in what I do and continue to pursue advanced professional training to stay abreast of current pediatric issues, provide workshops and training to parents, teachers, and colleagues.
In addition to my job, I love spending time with my family! I have two daughters – one who has two beautiful girls and another engaged to be married – and a son who has a 2.5 year old daughter and twins! I also love gardening and being outdoors with my chihuahua Chico and cats Beau and Belle.
